Welcome to my new life journal!

I have decided to build this place both as a favour for you and for me. For me, because I can do all the rambling about my stories, fanfiction in general and whatever I always wanted to write, and for you, because you won't be forced to read all that rambling in the forum. It isn't that nice a place to post, anyway.

For those of you who don't really look forward to all that rambling (Oh, how well I can understand you), I will still use the forum to give information about updates and previews, and you are welcome to discuss the stories and HP in general there. Answers to reviews and thoughts about how stories will develop, however, will be found here.

Hey,

Just caught the Lioness update, and saw that you've created a journal.

I just wanted to say I really enjoy both the stories you've posted, and look forward to each new addition.

May I friend you?

Peri

I'm loving Had I Known. I think I have already lost count of how many times I've read what you have so far. The only complaint I have, is that I have to wait for updates. I'm not saying they are not worth the wait, just that I think I'm addicted to your storys. For a while the only thing that helped me with my waiting was to start reading When a Lioness Fights... Well, now I'm all caught up with that one too... SSHG, and SSHP (non slash) are the two main types of fics that I'm drawn toward. That you write both so well really has me wishing you will continue to write even After these two are done. Oh, have you ever found the site Potions and snitches (I think it's .net) It's a great site, and I really think that you should put Had I Known there also... Well just had to tell you how much I enjoy your work, and encourage you to continue. Thanks for not just one, but two great reads!

Thank you for allowing me to translate 'Lioness' into Dutch. You told me to contact you with the link where I place the translation, but you blocked Personal Messages on fanfiction.net, so I had to find another way to contact you. You will be able to find the translation here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3636620/1/ I'm glad I have vacation right now, so I can work on the translation right away!

Hi there -- I'm following your story on FF of "Had I Known". I hope this comment is legible because I cannot see it with the colour scheme you are using.

Cheers!

Ok... where to begin???
(I hope you'll read this within a few days...)
HEllo!!!
I'm snakkesandapples from fanfiction.net. Er... Well, as a beginning, i'll say your fic is my bible. I really mean it, don't laugh, it's very serious(although it might be a little freaky...)
I can't tell you how many fics on HG SS i have read, it's worthless...But when i came to yours, it bewitched me... And it did it so well that I'v read your story several times, thing that I never do, usually.
First I 've read Lanassa, for I'm french and I wasn't aware that it was a translation. Then I came directly to your story, and as I said I read it many times, infuriating my mother as I spent many nights reading it.
However, I never let any reviews, I was somehow too shy, or too impressed by the tremendous number following the word "reviews"
I apologize for that. Really.
But I wandered if you could just reply me, making any sign that I finally communicated my high respect for your work. If you wish to, search for "snakesandapples" in Fanfiction.net, or "Longue est la route" to get my profile. It would just honour me.

And in a nutshell, I bow to your imagination and your talents, it's a hell of a story you've produced here.

Ps: I know, this might be a little pompuous, i'm agree, but i let down my humor for this message, anyway...
See you

Dear snakesandapples,

I am so, so sorry that I didn't read this post before now! Truth to tell, my mail programme hasn't been accepting mails from livejournal for soem time, and while I regularly read comments to entries, I never thought to look whether someone had posted something new to the earlier entries. So please forgive me that this took so long. Now that I discovered your entry, your review to the story also made sense, and I again humbly apologize for my stupidity.

It really means much to me that you like my story so much, although I'm a bit overwhelmed that it could be so important to you! I have tried my best to give one interpretation to the Harry Potter-world, or rather what it could mean to a certain group of readers (the fellow-bookworms, I presume). I am again and again surprised by the fact that people not only read the story, but read it several times and derive some greater meaning for themselves from it. It makes me proud, though (although it also makes me a bit shy).

And don't worry about the fact that you didn't leave a review for a while - I know what it's like not to be a native speaker. It took me a long time to dredge up enough courage to actually write a story, and I think that while writing my abilities have grown enormously. When I look back at earlier chapters, I cringe at the mistakes I have made. I hope to find some time in the future to go over them again and correct the worst spelling and grammar mistakes, but it makes me even more grateful to those who like and review the story anyway.

To conclude this lenthy rambling: Your support is really, really appreciated. And I don't think your pompous. I'm a fan, myself, and it's always a worrisome thing to contact authors, even if they are only fanfic-authors.

All the best to you, and thank you many times, both for your comment and your patience,
Kayly

Hello there. I'd seen your story 'When A Lioness Fights' on many Favorite Stories lists and thought I'd give it a try. Next thing you know, three days and 68 chapters have passed. Forgive me for not reviewing, but I was a bit intimidated by the number of reviews it already had. ^^"

Well anyways I saw that you had an LJ and I wanted to know if I could friend you. I thought I'd ask first before friending you. :]

Sorry for not answering before - you are very welcome to friend me! One day I will find the time to organize this journal properly, and then I'll be sure to friend you back (at the moment I'm proud if I manage to post now and then...).

All the best,
Kayly

Haha, sorry about all that ^^"

Beta idea

Hi Kayly,
I have been reading Lioness for a while and think it's just marvellous! Can't wait for the next chapter. About you needing a Beta, I confess that I download your story onto Word file and correct it as I go. Two things: firstly the 'z' as I am australian, I change them all to 's' (eg. Realization to Realisation) and secondly, "this instance" you always use that phrase: come here this instance! the word you need is 'instant'. Instant refers to a single moment within the continuous passage of time, Instance refers to an defined EVENT, outside the passage of time. "In the instance of my not coming to pick you us... (catch the bus)" "remember that instance where johnny swallowed his gum?" "I love those instances when the world is entirely silent".

anyway... I don't really have time to Beta, but you can always email stuff and if I DO have time, I'll do it. You don't update that often, so I may have the time afterall :)

Casaril@hotmail.com.

Great Story, Great Work. Keep writing! :)

Hey!
My plan was to review twice at chapter 72, but I found out that it's not possible. So, here I am! Invading your lifejournal!

I was so happy when I saw there was a new chapter. I'm not really the "I'm a fan!" type, in fact, I don't like the word fan. (But that's probably because we have more words for that in Dutch and the meaning sounds really.... Girly to me) But, I dare to say: I'm a fan of your stories!

And I really hope your husband will get better soon. But if you do not have the time to update, or you're just a bit tired, don't feel like you have to write! Writing is supposed to be fun, so if it's not, take a break!
You're a fantastic, talented, young writer. Your talent and our eagerness to read won't get less, so take your time!

Wooooooowww... I've just written way too much I guess. Mi scusi!
Anyway, the chapter was great. The only critism I can think of is that I was really waiting for Hermione to wake up, and I wasn't really interested in the rest, but perhaps that's only positive, cause it made me even more curious!

Bye! (Oh, I didn't really understand the options for writing a review, so I'm probably Anonymous right now. Anyway, I'm Lilithae, or in RL Laura)

Hi!

I realy love your stories!!! There's just one thing about the lioness... Will you let Hermione sleep with Severus? I mean, it's not that I like sex scenes, but I think it would be a final reasurrance of their love. Good luck with writing new chappie's!
Whatever you write, I'm gonna read it!

Peggy
